The South West London and Surrey Heartlands Maternal Medicine Network takes pride in its innovative and pioneering role of developing the Maternal Medicine Advanced Care Practice (ACP) Midwife. We are delighted to announce the appointment of a Band 8a Strategic Maternal Medicine ACP Midwife that will work across sites at St. George’s Hospital and Croydon University Hospital.
Ms. Katharine Bell embodies all four pillars of exemplary Advanced Care Practice in Midwifery with a wealth of experience in clinical work, leadership and management, education and research. We are confident that her role across sites will uplift the way Maternal Medicine care is delivered by upskilling more junior midwives and enhancing the service for women and birthing people in our network.
